It’s Women’s History Month. Here’s what we recommend.

Our friends at the Madison Writers’ Institute ask their speakers to list their favorite books. In honor of Women’s HIstory Month, we pulled some of the best suggestions – all written by women. Check out one of these excellent reads:

behind the beautiful foreversBehind the Beautiful Forevers, by Katherine Boo.  A favorite of Keynote Speaker Blair Braverman. (Also a new favorite of Mare Swallow, our ED.)

Braverman also recommends Random Family, a memoir by Adrian Nicole LeBlanc.

Larry Brooks, also a keynoter at WI, loved The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins. (He also loved all the movies.)
