Cancellation Policy

For Conference Attendees:

Requests for refunds of Conference Fees must be submitted in writing via snail mail to the Chicago Writers Conference. Requests must be received 14 calendar days prior to the start of the conference and a $75 cancellation fee will be charged. Within 14 days of the conference, no refunds will be issued for any reason. Refunds will be credited to your credit card or sent within six weeks after they are received. The CWC reserves the right to change or cancel any speaker and/or session without notice. There is an additional $50 handling fee for returned checks.

For Writers Night Out Workshop Attendees:

There are no refunds for Writers Night Out Workshops. Please read all details and ensure you are able to attend before signing up for a WNO workshop. You may transfer your registration to someone else — just please let us know. If you wish to transfer your registration, please contact us.
