For Conference Attendees:
Requests for refunds of Conference Fees must be submitted in writing via snail mail to the Chicago Writers Conference, 1055 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. Ste. F-164, Chicago, IL 60660.
Requests must be received 14 calendar days prior to the start of the conference and a $75 cancellation fee will be charged. Within 14 days of the conference, no refunds will be issued for any reason. Refunds will be credited to your credit card or sent within six weeks after they are received. The CWC reserves the right to change or cancel any speaker and/or session without notice. There is an additional $50 handling fee for returned checks.
For Writers Night Out Workshop Attendees:
If you wish to transfer your registration to another individual, rather than cancel, please contact us. There is no fee to transfer your registration. Please provide the name, email, and phone number of the person who will take your place.
Spaces are limited for Writers Night Out Workshops. Your registration counts toward our class minimum. If cancelled up to 7 days prior to the workshop, you will receive a refund less a $20 cancellation fee. Within 7 days of the workshop, there are no refunds. If you must cancel your registration, please contact us.
We are not able to provide refunds for no-shows or cancellation due to illness, travel, work, family, emergent situations, or any other reason outside our control.
